The Finance and Administration Department at INSEAD encompasses a diverse range of critical functions, including Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Finance, Legal, Procurement, Risk, and Audit. This department plays a pivotal role in ensuring the institution's financial health, compliance, and operational efficiency, supporting INSEAD's mission to deliver world-class education and research.
INSEAD seeking an Apprentice, FP&A to join our FP&A team in Finance and Administration. This an apprenticeship based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau.
About the role
The FP&A Apprentice will support the FP&A team in day-to-day activities, including maintaining critical business reports, monitoring and cleaning commitments, processing accounting reclassifications, contributing to Business Partnering activities, and supporting simplification and automation initiatives.
This will enable the FP&A team to dedicate more time to priority projects and value-added activities (e.g., Horizon post-implementation, process documentation, upskilling and training, and scenario modelling).
Your role within the team
- Support the elaboration of the budget.
- Participate to projects, measure the impact in order to take the right decisions.
- Produce KPIs for the management.
- Validate expenses and expenses reports making sure the processes were well applied.
- Translate accounting and purchasing into business.
- Track budget, commitments (PO), and accounting entries (invoices), including data entry to update forecasts.
- Engage discussions and business partnering with some departments.
The ideal candidate
- You will do a Master in Finance starting in September 2026.
- Knowledge in accounting and skills.
- Excellent attention to details.
- Culturally sensitive and comfortable working in a multicultural international environment.
- At ease with Excel and Pack Office, familiar with technology.
- Good communicational skills both in French and English.
- Reliable, and ability to adapt.
