The Finance and Administration Department at INSEAD encompasses a diverse range of critical functions, including Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Finance, Legal, Procurement, Risk, and Audit. This department plays a pivotal role in ensuring the institution's financial health, compliance, and operational efficiency, supporting INSEAD's mission to deliver world-class education and research.

INSEAD is seeking an Apprentice, Corporate & Compliance Assistant to join our Legal team. This is an apprenticeship contract based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France.

About the Job

As part of the Legal Department, you will support an inter‑campus team operating across Fontainebleau and Singapore. You will contribute to legal compliance initiatives and assist in managing INSEAD’s various legal entities.

Your role within the team

  • Maintain and update legal databases for corporate entities and delegations of authority.
  • Assist with drafting, revising, and formatting corporate legal documents.
  • Support the rollout and implementation of the compliance program.
  • Create and update informational and communication materials, including PowerPoint presentations.
  • Help maintain and enhance the Legal team’s intranet pages.
  • Monitor, track, and process invoices from external legal counsel.

The ideal candidate profile

  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Business Law, Ethics & Compliance or equivalent.
  • Proficient with office tools (Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Canva, SharePoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative, proactivity, and energy
  • Culturally sensitive and comfortable working in an international, multicultural environment.
