Job Title: Senior Scientist Bio-Analytical Development & Quality Control

• Location: Vitry-Sur-Seine – France

As a Senior Scientist within our Bio-Analytical Development & Quality Control team in Global CMC Development, you will drive the implementation of automated analytical methods and digital laboratory solutions while ensuring the highest quality standards for the analysis and characterization of therapeutic proteins (antibodies and related molecules) for clinical trials. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement automated analytical methods using HPLC/UPLC, capillary electrophoresis, UV spectroscopy and pharmacopeial methods in GMP and non-GMP environment for quality control, stability studies and comparability assessments of biotechnology-derived products.
• Lead the digital transformation of laboratory operations by managing digital solutions (iLab platform) and AI-driven analytical tools.
• Represent the physicochemical expertise of the AD&QC group within project teams and cross-functional interfaces.
• Author comprehensive analytical documentation and deliver presentations at internal and external conferences.
• Collaborate on analytical method transfers to quality control laboratories.
• Supervise and verify analytical results generated by team members while ensuring data integrity

Experience:

• Proven ability to implement and optimize innovative automation solutions for analytical applications (e.g., sample preparation)
• Laboratory experience in protein analysis (quality control in GMP environment).
• Proficiency in HPLC/UPLC, capillary electrophoresis and UV spectroscopy methods applied to therapeutic proteins

Technical and Soft Skills:

• Experience with automation and digital laboratory systems (ex: iLab, Empower), AI-driven analytical tools, knowledge of GMP/ICH/Pharmacopeial standards.
• Strong aptitude for digital technologies, ability to embrace change, result-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills

Education: Master's degree in Biotechnology, Analytical Chemistry or equivalent (Engineering degree)

Languages: Fluent English and French (written and oral)
