What's the job?
In this role, you will provide critical support to our EMEA (primarily France) marketing and sales business operations, helping us achieve success within those countries. Support will include qualification and progression of initial interest, preparation of budgetary quotations, nurturing of potential sales prospects until they are ‘sales-ready’ and, administrative tasks to ensure smooth and efficient business processes.
What are your responsibilities?
Qualify all incoming leads and distribute them according to established rules and guidelines to the designated Account Manager within the territory.
Become an expert in Salesforce and other tools that may be used to increase sales effectiveness. Embrace new sales strategies/techniques when instructed.
Be proficient in the features, benefits, specifications, and value propositions of Malvern Panalytical’s technical products in order to converse at the appropriate level with scientists, engineers, and academics in a wide variety of fields and disciplines.
Maintain long-term relationships with our existing customers and acquire new customers to nurture in the main areas of particle characterization: laser diffraction, dynamic light scattering, image analysis, microcalorimetry, XRF, XRD, NIR, contract analysis services.
Provide additional support to the full EMEA Inside Sales team as required.
Perform within established standards/metrics for the Inside Sales team to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
You are a commercially savvy individual with a high sense of urgency who is willing to go the extra mile.
You have excellent verbal, listening, and questioning skills as well as a solid understanding of our products and how they are used in industrial and academic environments.
You have a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or higher; or equivalent combination of education and experience in general Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, and Materials Science.
Two to four years related sales/applications experience and/or training.
Fluent in both written and spoken French

Dans ce rôle, vous fournirez un soutien essentiel à nos opérations commerciales de marketing et de vente dans la région EMEA (principalement la France), nous aidant à réussir dans ces pays. Le soutien comprendra la qualification et la progression de l'intérêt initial, la préparation de devis budgétaires, l'entretien des prospects potentiels jusqu'à ce qu'ils soient «prêts à la vente» et des tâches administratives pour assurer des processus commerciaux fluides et efficaces.
Quelles sont vos responsabilités?
Vous qualifiez tous les prospects entrants et vous les distribué conformément aux règles et directives établies au responsable de compte désigné sur le territoire.
Vous êtes un expert de Salesforce et d'autres outils pouvant être utilisés pour augmenter l'efficacité des ventes. Vous adoptez de nouvelles stratégies/techniques de vente lorsque cela vous est demandé.
Dans ce rôle vous devrez maîtriser les caractéristiques, les avantages, les spécifications et les propositions de valeur des produits techniques de Malvern Panalytical afin de converser au niveau approprié avec des scientifiques, des ingénieurs et des universitaires dans une grande variété de domaines et de disciplines.
Vous en charge d’entretenir des relations à long terme avec nos clients existants et acquérir de nouveaux clients à développer dans les principaux domaines de la caractérisation des particules : diffraction laser, diffusion dynamique de la lumière, analyse d'images, microcalorimétrie, XRF, XRD, NIR, services d'analyse contractuelle.
Vous devrez fournir une assistance supplémentaire à l'ensemble de l'équipe des ventes internes EMEA, selon les besoins.
Vous respectez les normes/mesures établies pour l'équipe des ventes internes afin de s'assurer que les objectifs sont atteints ou dépassés.
De quoi avez-vous besoin pour réussir dans ce rôle?
Vous êtes une personne avisée sur le plan commercial avec un sens aigu de l'urgence qui est prête à faire un effort supplémentaire.
Vous avez d'excellentes capacités d'expression, d'écoute et de questionnement ainsi qu'une solide compréhension de nos produits et de leur utilisation dans les environnements industriels et académiques.
Vous êtes titulaire d'un baccalauréat ès sciences (B.S.) ou supérieur; ou une combinaison équivalente d'études et d'expérience en biologie générale, biochimie, chimie, physique, génie chimique et science des matériaux.
Deux à quatre ans d'expérience et/ou de formation dans le domaine de la vente/des applications.
Maîtrise de l’anglais écrit et parlé
