Job Description:

Airbus Commercial is looking for a Environment, Heath and Safety (EHS) International Coordination Leader (f/m) to join our Health and Safety transnational organisation based in Toulouse, France.

You will join the team ensuring implementation of a transversal Airbus EHS strategy, striving to achieve zero harm working environments across all global Airbus entities. To do so, you will be in close collaboration with the EHS teams from the different group entities and their subsidiaries

You will be fully responsible for coordinating the network of EHS representatives based outside of the 4 founding countries (Regions).

Your challenges:
  •  Ensuring the international regions comply with all relevant environmental, health, and safety laws, regulations, and standards. This involves staying up to date with the latest regulations and implementing necessary measures to demonstrate status and support compliance, in a challenging geographically dispersed landscape.

  • Support the development of organisational policies and procedures related to environmental, health, and safety which support international activities.  These policies should outline the organisation's commitment to EHS, provide guidelines for employees, and establish protocols for responding to incidents and emergencies with the ultimate target to raise the bar of EHS integration into the business and compliance with legal and Airbus EHS standards. 

  • Leading the EHS International coordination Committee, promoting the proper coordination of EHS topics among the different divisions before being deployed across the  regions.

  • Ensuring delivery on time, cost and quality to ensure customer satisfaction. Encourage innovation and continuous improvement. Understand Airbus strategy and translate it into meaningful objectives to contribute to increase Airbus profitability. Establishment of proper dashboards to measure EHS performance in the perimeter of the role. 

  • Collaborating with the functional organisation of Health and Safety ensuring the alignment of local initiatives with Functional perspectives. Playing a key role in contributing to the stewardship and ambitions of the EHS functional leadership team and the wider EHS community. Animation of the EHS International (East/West) forums of discussions with the EHS teams from the regions. 

  • Leading projects within your area of responsibility ensuring timely delivery, alignment and execution from team members and other stakeholders.

  • Promote, develop safety culture and ensure its deployment throughout Regions with the support of people safety at work team and its network. 

This role might involve international travels for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. 

Your boarding pass:
  • At least 8 years of experience in health and safety coordination applied to an industrial environment.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management  skills

  • International mindset, embracing cultural differences at regional, national, local level

  • Influencing capabilities, making things happening throughout multidivisional and matrix environments without hierarchical reporting to the role. 

  • Being able to inspire the Team.

  • Project management skills beyond organizational and national boundaries

  • Fluent english
