Position
This position sits within the CRE Global Data Transformation & Analytics team, supporting our current data solutions and as well contributing to the development of new data solutions leveraging tech and AI. You will also participate in key global data and analytics communities to ensure that we are well integrated into the science and tech roadmap within the broader Ipsos organization.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the development of new data science methodologies (leveraging GenAI, computer vision, natural language processing, synthetic models, Agentic AI…) to elevate our Creative Development, Assessment and In Market offers
- Collaborate with the global products team in developing new data products and services that will differentiate us from the competition
- Develop/exploit cloud native tools/solutions for more powerful analytical insights and operational efficiencies
- Develop and maintain our core predictive models to create robust KPIs/norms that are a key part of our Global SL Survey and AI offer
- Work with other cross-functional teams (e.g. tech team, data scientists/engineers, automation team) as needed in the deployment of new solutions
- Stay on top of new analytical techniques and industry trends
- Identify ways to improve efficiencies through automation and AI
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Econometrics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong knowledge of statistical methodologies and their applications to business questions (e.g. predictive models, clustering techniques)
- Proficiency in writing Python/R scripts and maintaining code libraries
- Working knowledge of SQL and experience in designing/querying large analytical datasets (e.g. in BigQuery or similar cloud warehouses).
- Knowledge of LLMs is ideal
- Applying LLMs to text-focused problems such as classification, summarization, extraction
- Experience with prompt design and output postprocessing
- Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to ground model outputs
- Experience with Cloud platforms (ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP)) and building data chains.
- English mandatory
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and methodological rigor.
- Ability to understand business and research problems and translate them into concrete analytical approaches.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams (data science, engineering, research, client service).
- Comfortable with presenting technical results to non-technical audiences
- Regional/global experience is an advantage
- Ability to work and communicate effectively in a diverse environment is an asset
- Understanding of market research methodologies is an advantage
