About the team

The J.P. Morgan Asset Management Exchange Traded Fund (“ETF”) business was formed in 2015, with the first UCITS ETFs launched in 2017. We are executing an ETF strategy that spans asset classes, including equities and fixed income. The EMEA ETF business leverages the firm’s numerous competitive advantages, including industry leading research and investment insights, to lead ETF sales activities to all client types in EMEA. J.P. Morgan Asset Management is a pioneer and leader in the Active ETF market.

The EMEA ETF team seeks a driven and committed French ETF Client Advisor to join our organization. This role will be based in Paris and report functionally to the Co-Head of EMEA ETF Distribution as well as regionally to the Country Head of France.

ETF Client Advisor Role Summary 

We are looking for individuals with ETF sales or relationship management experience who can help us grow our Active ETF footprint in the French distribution and institutional market. Our team puts clients first, so we are looking for candidates that share our enthusiasm for delivering a first-class client experience. Strong and clear communication is an essential requirement for this role. As you will be part of a broader team, collaboration and teamwork is an integral part of everything we do. You should have the motivation and confidence to proactively engage and lead client conversations throughout the sales process. Therefore, you should share our passion for creating an exceptional client experience and managing our business in an ethical and compliant way.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop deep relationships across your client base with particular emphasis on investment decision makers, portfolio managers and traders
  • Partner closely with our Internal Funds & Institutional Client Advisors on their ETF client engagements as the subject matter expert
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations to prospective and existing clients at meetings, conferences, roadshows and via telephone/zoom
  • Provide clients with capital markets insights regarding ETF primary and secondary market trading
  • Leverage a consultative sales approach across channel to drive net new ETF assets
  • Engage clients in discussions about new product concepts and solutions to help solve complex client challenges
  • Take ownership for this client channel and deliver on your business plan

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills 

  • Existing ETF relationships in the French investment community, with capacity to prospect new external relationships 
  • Strong understanding of the French market, with knowledge of Active management
  • Deep background in the ETF landscape with competitor, product, and capital markets familiarity
  • Proven track record of developing key internal and external partnerships with sales teams and individuals
  • Highly motivated, with the ability to work in close collaboration with the local client advisors 
  • Experience developing and executing on a data driven sales business plan within a defined channel or region
  • Willing to take ownership of tasks assigned 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • English fluent
